Important Coronavirus Update

Thursday – March 19, 2020

Dear Church Family

In light of Governor Mark Gordon’s announcement of a statewide business closure mandate, and Casper Mayor Steve Freel’s announcement limiting gatherings in Natrona County to 10 people, all activities at The Christian Church of Casper will be suspended until further notice. This means:

  1. There will be no Sunday morning services.
  2. The church doors will be locked 24 hours per day.
  3. There will be no other activities at the Church.

But there is some good news! Beginning this Sunday, March 22nd, we will be offering our Sunday worship service online from 10:30-11:30 via livestreaming on both our website and our Facebook home page. In addition, I’ve placed an order for prepacked communion emblems which will be delivered by next Sunday and will be available for all who request them; in the meantime, grape juice and any unleavened bread works nicely (Pita bread, flat bread, crackers, etc.) for communion. Regarding weekly giving, please feel free to mail your tithe to the Christian Church of Casper, 8188 Zero Road Casper, WY 82604.

Please know, that we are diligently exploring other options for our church family such as online giving and online Bible study groups. In the interim, please continue to pray for an end to this global pandemic and for comfort and healing for all those who have contracted this dangerous virus. I urge you in love to continue to practice social distancing, to make wise decisions, to stay home unless you have to go out, and above all, to stay safe until this crisis passes. If you need assistance of any kind, please feel free to contact me any time. We have people waiting and wanting to help you with anything you may need, like picking up groceries, prescriptions, running errands, you name it, we can help. We will be continually monitoring this situation and will be providing additional updates as things change.

Yours in Christ,

Scott Jeffrey
